One of the fun things to do, if you are around boaters or in a boat tourism destination, is to go to a party on the water.  As a member of the yacht club in North Carolina, we often go to the boat raft up. It is a social event at the sunset time, like a happy hour on the water. Everybody bring their own appetizers (hor d’oeuvres) and preferred drinks to share with friends in this floating party. Next boat trip, fishing activities, boat adventures and best tourism destinations for boaters are common subjects to talk.

This is a very fun way to see a beautiful sunset and share a nice moment with great friends. Skip and Cherylle Hird are the organizer of this FHYC party and they told me about going to Bahamas every year for 23 years! I made another post about that (with an Interview). Mary and Ed Grosser told me that they come monthly to those events since 3 years ago. They are celebrating their 50’s anniversary! Congratulations!

Tony and David Smith are planning to go to Bahamas, only two of them in a 42 feet sailing boat, in October 2017 and spend a year there. He invited me to made a video around the boats in this event and told me that they are preparing to go, planning about provisions for the boat, how to produce and save the electricity in a boat trip. Check what he told me at the video in the end of this post. John D. Miller and I told them about all the great boat trips we did together to France, British Virgin Islands, Mexico and how we are happy to be part of this community, may be make plans to do a next boat trip together!

Uma das coisas bem divertidas para fazer, se você estiver ao redor de navegadores ou numa destinação turística de barcos, é participar de uma festa na água. Como membros do yatcht clube na Carolina do Norte, nós frequentemente vamos a um evento chamado boat raft up (barcos amarrados). É um evento social na hora do pôr-do-dol, como um happy hour na água. Todos trazem seus petiscos e bebidas preferidas para dividir com os amigos numa festa flutuante. Próxima viagem de barco, pescaria, aventuras de navegadores e melhores destinações turísticas para atividades com barcos são assuntos comuns nas conversas da festa.

Essa é uma forma muito interessante de ver um lindo pôr-do-sol e dividir um agradável momento com ótimos amigos. Ele me convidou para fazer um vídeo ao redor dos barcos durante esse evento e me contou (na versão em inglês do vídeo a seguir) que precisa planejar bem a viagem, pensar nos mantimentos para vários meses e como produzir e economizar energia (através de painéis de energia solar e eólica) numa viagem de barco. John D. Miller e eu falamos para eles todas aventuras na bviagens de barco que fizemos para a França, para o México e para as Islhas Virgens Britânicas.
